Welcome to the Big Data Processing course!

The course text (including exercises), slides, project description, and the Docker environment in which to experiment with and run code can be found in the course repository on SOFT's Gitlab. You have to become a member of the group bdp-students-2025 to access the repo. More details on how to do this below.

Canvas is used for announcements, posting solutions to exercises, and for submitting your project.

Access to the gitlab repository

Navigate to SOFT's Gitlab, and create an account using your @vub.be email address.

Navigate to groups and then select bdp-students-2025.

Using the hamburger menu in the top right, request to become a member.

Once your membership has been approved, you can access the course's repository.
