Cursussyllabus

Welcome to the optics lectures!
This elective course on optical design will give you a theoretical base to understand, analyse and design optical systems based on the refractive and/or reflective nature of material surfaces. We will also visit the aspects of diffractive optical systems. Next to a pure theoretical insight, this course will also provide insights into opto-mechanical design and tolerancing as well as appropriate fabrication methods.
